The corrected category

OFFPAD and OFFPAD+ use card-like dimensions, but PONE’s datasheet describes powered security devices weighing 17 grams and measuring 2.5 mm thick. Both contain rechargeable Li-ion batteries, E Ink screens and physical buttons.

Interfaces and sensors

Both models support Bluetooth Low Energy and NFC. OFFPAD+ adds USB-C through its holder. PONE identifies IDEX SmartFinger IDX3200 in OFFPAD and IDX3205 in OFFPAD+.

Certification claim

PONE lists both products as FIDO2 Level 1 certified. OFFPAD+ is additionally listed with CE, FCC and ISED-related certification markings. Exact certification records should be checked when assurance requirements depend on them.

Why the distinction matters

A powered device can provide a display, explicit controls and several connection paths, but it also introduces charging and battery lifecycle considerations. It should not be evaluated as though it were a reader-powered 0.8 mm access or payment card.
