What was announced

Sentry Enterprises presents SentryCard360 as an identity chain spanning the first interview, issuance of a fingerprint-bound SentryCard and later account recovery. The company names Credenti and PrivateID as partners in the wider workflow.

The important distinction

The card still performs an on-card fingerprint role, but the 360 proposition also uses facial identity processes around onboarding and recovery. Buyers should therefore assess both the card and the external identity services rather than treating the system as entirely self-contained.

Why recovery deserves scrutiny

Strong authentication can be undermined by weak replacement or recovery procedures. Binding enrollment to a previously verified applicant may reduce substitution risk, while facial recovery introduces its own privacy, matching and governance questions.

Questions for buyers

Request data-flow diagrams, retention rules, false-match testing, accessibility alternatives, administrator controls and a clear explanation of which partner processes each category of biometric data.
